    Figures are missing. Why? This is extremely upsetting. I've been receiving emails from readers wanting ti read the paper that was published incomplete and in a such poor quality. I've requested corrections years ago, but it is clear now that e_learn editors are not so committed to quality. Too bad, Junia Anacleto

    Context rules, as Elliot pointed out. In modern language learning, we saw this years ago. A successful book about Modern Language Instruction was called "Teaching Lanaguage in Context." We learned how language instructors do best to build a context for the language learners and then hang the content within the framework of that context. A big question now seems to be, "How do we create a meaningful context online?" Graphical environments? Story telling? Games? Simulations? Art exhibits? ... Preston Lathrop Brooklyn, NY
