We worked very hard at making this book straightforward and easy to access. There is a standards checklist that will be especially helpful to do a course review.

Here's a review that came into Amazon yesterday: 5.0 out of 5 stars Great resource, June 13, 2011 By Martha Burger, Ed.D. - See all my reviews This review is from: Essentials of Online Course Design: A Standards-Based Guide (Paperback) I love this book (Essentials of Online Course Design) and I'm drawing heavily on it as I redesign face-to-face courses to become online courses. I want my online courses to be truly valuable learning experiences for my students -- not just glorified correspondence courses. This book provides a step-by-step guide for creating an effective online course. It is just a great resource and is at my side during the design process. It has been a valuable tool in this just-in-time learning experience and I highly recommend it.
